Pro has powerful specs in terms of processing and graphics so it has a higher advantage over gaming and with some productivity tools. Depends on your usage. For a basic usage like browsing and using common apps, you dont need pro..

The screen is also thinner and closer to the surface. iPad regular is plenty power for most games and uses. Got iPad Pro if you need the pen keyboard or more power
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Does not support Apple Pencil, a little slower processor, and doesn't have dock connector on the side for easy connections to Apple or Logitech keyboard/case. It is a nice all around iPad for media consumption. I bought one for my mother.
