Hello Anonymous, This is a difficult question to answer since the term "better" is highly subjective. If you enjoy the smaller form factor/screen size (7.9 inches) "better" than the bigger iPad (9.7 inches) than I would say yes. If you purchased the latest generation iPad mini another advantage it has over the default 9.7 inch model is storage. The default storage for the 9.7 inch iPad is 32 GB however the latest iPad mini only comes with 128 GB of storage. That means more room for photos, apps, and music. If you are speaking about speed, then the latest 9.7 inch model is faster/stronger. It is running Apple's A9 chip and A9 graphics processor. These are the same chips used in the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. The iPad Mini runs the older Apple A8 processor and A8 graphics chips found in the iPhone 5S. However, both devices have 2 GB of internal memory (like computer memory) so they are both plenty robust and can take advantage of the latest iOS tricks like split screen app viewing and power management. The 9.7" iPad will probably last you a little bit longer before it starts to feel old because it was released in 2017. The iPad Mini was originally released in 2015. Still, both devices are plenty robust and powerful and should bring your plenty of enjoyment. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No , it's not nearly as good. Keep the iPad mini 4. Or buy a iPad pro instead. Mini 4s still sell for a bit and not better in this iPad in my opinion. I bought and don't like it.
