Go to Apple.com and at the top right of the page is a small magnifying glass icon. Tap it and type instructions for ipad. You will have several choices.

Now that I have provided my best advice for your Apple experience, head on over to Apple.com and select support for your Apple product. The website has very easy to understand how-to's for every situation you might encounter, particularly getting started with a new device. And unlike WIndows Help, these articles are written in plain everyday English. There is also a community forum if you run across something you do not understand. And of course, do not forget that you can call Apple support free of charge (almost no wait time) and have a techie walk you through your issue. Enjoy your iPad!
