QuestionI do not know the connection of Verizon and Best Buy. I am a Verizon customer and I have wireless. What does it mean 2-year contract and do I have to add a line for the Ipad because I already have internet service through Verizon for my laptop.

- Answer I just got an iPad for my husband and it was $10/mo to add the device to my plan. If you get an iPad without cellular you can just use one of your devices as a hotspot.

- Answer You never need a new contract if you pay full price for the device. I've paid full price for the last two iphones and simply added them to my Verizon service with no contracts.

QuestionI want to buy an iPad and be able to use the internet when I am not in a wifi hot spot. If I insert a SIM card does that make it possible? Or do I need to add a line through my cell phone carrier in order for the internet to work when away from wifi?

- Answer If your phone is capable of a hotspot, like IPhone is, then you can use that wherever you are to connect your Ipad to the internet.

- Answer Yes, I purchased mine with the intent of only using it for WIFI and it works fine. Additionally, if you have an IPhone, you can use the hotspot on the phone to connect your IPAD to the internet, wherever you are.
