It came with verison sim card. I am with t-mobile but I turned on the phone and it says it verizon. But it was fully unlocked. Using it on t-mobile with no problem. Best buy iphones are little weird. In the sense that, it will lock to the first carrier that you put the sim card. So be careful before you put in any gsm sim card. Verizon is not a gsm carrier but still they have a sim card in it (not sure why). But Dont worry it is unlocked, but make sure you activate the phone with verizon sim card in it, because if you use any other sim card like att, tmobile, cricket, etc, it will lock to that carrier and you'll have to contact them to get it unlocked (some carrier like t-mobile requires a wait time of 40 days before they unlock it).
