Yes and no. It can only physically take 1 SIM card but you can also activate another number on it with the esim. It should work with Verizon since the Apple Watch on Verizon is also esim. Put your main number on the esim, then use the actual sim tray for the second number you may change more often.

Yes. It has a physical sim and an Esim. You can have two numbers but you would need to call Verizon or whomever your carrier is.
