Q: QuestionWhat does the term "Unlocked" mean? How does one lock or unlock a phone, and why would one do that?

• A:Answer An unlocked phone gives you the ability to take your phone and phone number to any carrier and change back and forth between carriers. The locked phones are only have service with one carrier. Sometimes that one carrier is paying the bonus offer to get you with their company or to make you sign a contract with them.

• A:Answer Yes! It is pretty much the same size, honestly it is a tiny bit smaller even. But it is thicker, so it seems about the same size, but has the edge to edge screen which is awesome. I did that exact upgrade :)

Q: QuestionHas anyone found a good case that completely encases the phone? I typically get the lifeproof fre case for my phones but they don’t make one for the 13 mini. Hopefully they will as they made one for the iPhone 12 mini but that doesn’t fit the 13 mini.

• A:Answer No, Best Buy only sells locked IPhones. I bought one cash, but still had to have it locked to the carrier for 3 months. Apple sells unlocked IPhones. Even the sales perrson I worked with thought this made no sense.

• A:Answer I don’t know why not, call Verizon and ask. I just bought one and when I bought it, it asked for my Verizon info, they sent the SIM card with it, already set for my account. I am sure they will charge their activation charge of 35.00. But I just followed the steps on my phone and it worked perfectly, to do it myself.

Q: QuestionMy I Phone 13 mini keeps enlarging fonts on my screen. They are so large, I cannot access or use at all. They are huge. I went to a store, instructed to hold the volume button on the upper left and hold the on off simultaneously. Not working !

• A:Answer I noticed when I was messing with mine last night, there is a question about large font in the settings. I set mine for standard. Also I haven’t used it but there is a zoom feature in the settings that might be causing you grief. Check your settings.
