“How long will the T-mobile activation be there before I can unlock the device and use another carrier??”

• Depends upon how you handling situations. Standard wait time is 40 days. If you paid full, then you can request via T-Mobile social network to get unlock within 3 days. You should have account in T-Mobile and the phone must be fully paid off. I purchased 3 phones from Best Buy. All of them unlocked with in week.

• Asked T-Mobile and was told that we can ask for unlock after 45 days. Must be fully paid before you start counting the 45 days
