• If you need one without the carrier, I would definitely hit up the Apple Store cause I don't think Best Buy gave me the option either.

• You have to buy it with a carrier, but you can get the carrier taken off and switched to just an unlocked phone if you go into a mobile shop. But you cant really unlock it without removing/replacing your sim card.
