• A:Answer What you are describing is purchasing an iPhone in an unlocked state. This is possible, but to do so you must purchase the device directly from Apple. There are no third-party retailers who are authorized to sell unlocked iPhones in a new state.

• A:Answer Unfortunately, Spectrum is not one of the network providers supported by Best Buy. Seeing as Best Buy nor any third party retailer does not have authorization to sell new iPhones in an unlocked state, you will either have to purchase the device from Spectrum directly or buy an unlocked iPhone from Apple directly and get it activated through Spectrum.

• A:Answer If it is through a carrier then no, but if you buy it outright you can put any kind of SIM card in it. But this is normal for any phone. It is only unlocked if you own the phone, instead of doing payment plans.

• A:Answer I’ve done this 5 times now. Your bill will go up in your first couple months .as soon as you start receiving your bill credits you will get caught up and it will show up on your bill. Hope that helps.
