If you have a good payment history with your carrier I don’t think there will be a down payment it will be divided up into 24 months for some carriers and 34 months for other carriers. Verizon will be 24 months. But if you don’t want your payments to be really high I suggest you pay a down payment. Because most people will be only thinking, well I can do this it’s only going to be about $42-$45 per month and forget all the additional fees that have to be added then end up paying some where in the mid $60’s per month and that won’t even include Apple Care.
