XR has a single lens camera, lcd screen, and is .03 inches bigger than the XS. It also has aluminum casing compared to stainless steel.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The main differences that i see is the price and the Retina display. I wasn’t ready to put out the extra $300 to $400 just to get a better display. I am very happy with my XR. I had the 6s Plus previous and there is such a difference between the two. So glad I upgraded!

The camera isnt as nice as the XS, the XS camera modes have more things to do while the XR only has a couple of them. The price is wayyyyy better. If you are the person that likes colors then the XR should be the way to go. They both are the same speed, depending on coverage, so dont even consider that. Good luck with your buying :)
