So a 3 to a 4-minute song is roughly 4mb. There is 1028mb in 1gb. So 1028mb divided by 4mb (per song) you can hold roughly 250 songs in 1gb. So a 32 GB can hold roughly 8000 songs. a 16 can hold about 4000 songs. Because the unit comes pre-installed with apps a 16gb is really like 12 GB with everything preinstalled. a 32 is more like 24gb of free space. Everything pre-installed is Bloatware. Or things that you may or may not need. Eating up space. that is if it is only songs. Now if you add apps/Videos and other things the number drops a lot less. Especially if you have a 5 min music Video for example. They take up a lot of room. About 4gb a video so. It all depends on what you need it for. Also when you run out of memory With apple that is it. You can't add an SD micro card like you can with Android.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have over two thousand with about 4 gigs left.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It really varies by the size/length of the song. Also it depends on what else you have on the iPod. If you purchase music from iTunes, you could potentially store close to 1,000 songs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This depends truly on how large are your song files? I have all my music at 320mhz. I can get about 3,200 songs on my 32gb flash drive.
