QuestionDoes this work to play videos from Disney+ or Netflix that are downloaded to your phone on the TV? Haven’t had luck screen mirroring downloaded videos

- Answer I use my adaptor frequently to send Netflix or Prime movies on my iPad Mini to my big screen Sharp smart TV. How: You need an HDMI cable, with one end attached to an HDMI input on your TV, the other end attached to the appropriate slot in the adaptor. Then (likely via your TV remote) change the Input specification on your TV to whatever HDMI input slot you’ve attached your HDMI cable to. Start playing the movie on your phone. Then attach the lightning connector end of the adaptor to your phone. In a few moments, the movie will appear on your TV. You will have to use your phone to control the film From this point on, to change volume, pause and restart the movie, etc. When you’re done, remember to change (likely via TV remote) the Inout specification on your TV back to your usual HDMI slot specification or you won’t be able to watch your regular TV. QuestionI bought a projector and need this adapter to connect it to my iPad. Does anyone use it for this purpose and can confirm you can use this adapter with Hulu and Netflix? I bought an off brand one that blocked Netflix and Hulu video from being played.

- Answer This is exactly what I used this for, Netflix, Hulu YouTube all work great with the hdmi adapter. Be prepared to control volume on projector or external speaker though as it’ll lock the volume on high with the adapter.

- Answer It works with Netflix. Make sure to give it time to load the picture. I really recommend getting an Apple TV for better picture quality

- Answer this will work to connect your iphone. Not your macbook pro. Your macbook pro does not have a lightning cable...look at the bottom of your iphone. That charging port is what it connects to. Your macbook pro does not have that port.

- Answer Yes you can use this with an iPhone 8 Plus. Plug the lightning connector into your iPhone, use an hdmi cable to plug into a tv or a monitor with hdmi, use the additional lightning port for power in order to keep your iPhone charging while you are using the connector.

- Answer Yes, It works and charges with the ipad 5th generation, and the iPhone 8, those are what I use it with. Video and sound and charging all at the same time. Just plug it in and it works the first time (just remember to hit play again as it pauses when you connect, and be sure the sound is playing out of the ipad when you connect).

- Answer This adapter is for an in iphone. They sell the same type of adapter’s for androids with the micro-usb or usb-c, just make sure you specify when searching.

- Answer This adaptor has a Apple lightning male plug on one end of adaptor and 2 female slots on the other, I don’t believe it’s a usb-c connector. Of the 2 female slots, 1 is for the HDMI to plug into & the other is an Apple lightning slot so you can keep charging your Apple device while using the HDMI to your tv.

- Answer I use it with iPhone 8 to watch amazon prime and YouTube and it works great. With this anything on your phone display is “mirrored” to your TV screen.

QuestionI get an error message “HDMI output is not supported” trying to access my Directv from my Iphone to a new Samsung TV in my RV. I have tried differnet TVs but get the same message. . I get sound but no video. An ideas??

- Answer I honestly believe this is a glitch with some of these adapters. I have owned several and just a couple of them displayed that message some of the time. Not all the time. Ultimately, a new adapter worked just fine. If I were you, I’d get the receipt and take it back and say it isn’t working properly and see about an exchange. It always worked with a new adapter for me.
