• Yes. I have an old IMAC 2011 1/2. It came with the Apple Keyboard and Mouse. I always had problems with these units because of the inferior IMAC 2011 bluetooth. I just purchased a Mac Mini M2 and am able to connect the Keyboard and mouse and they now work without issue. Yay - that saved me $200 on a new Apple keyboard.

• I believe that it will work. Just google hooking up a Mac mini to an old Mac desktop. By the way, the Mac mini is a great computer.

• From what I understand, you can use the track pad and keyboard with the Mac mini. I read where you can use the monitor, with some adjustments, but the old Mac is still running in the background. I purchased an inexpensive keyboard, mouse and monitor and they work fine.
