The Apple wireless keyboard slopes downward toward the desk surface. The trackpad also slopes downward, with the back of the trackpad being raised up about a 1/4" higher in back than in front, so it's not going to be a seamless transition from keyboard to trackpad like on a MacBook, nor is the Magic Trackpad flat like on a MacBook. The bottom edge of the keyboard will be lower than the top edge of the trackpad. Because of that, I think you would have a tendency to be hitting the trackpad with your palms when typing. It's really designed to be off to either the right or left side of a keyboard, not directly underneath it. The slope angle of the new Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad is the same, so they will align perfectly side-by-side.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the track pad is angled just like the keyboard so it may interfere with the space bar on the keyboard if you push it up too close but if you leave a little bit of space between them you'll probably be fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it doesn't work nicely. This is such a poor design from Apple. If you keep this trackpad too close to the keyword, the pointer goes nuts whenever your hand barely touches the trackpad. Not practical nor ergonomic at all. I bought both the magic keyboard and trackpad. I am keeping the keyboard but am returning the trackpad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, But I coupled this with the 12 South MagicBridge Tray and it is a wonderful setup. You can buy it from Amazon for about $30 or so. Look at the review videos on YouTube as well to see for yourself
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does fit nicely against it. I would reccomend you buy it but from someone else. Best Buy hasn’t fulfilled a single promise in my last four times ordering from them. I would Much rather pay more elsewhere and get a small level of service with it.
