• A:Answer Most likely. I'm unsure about the termination where the cord/plug meets the receptacle at the laptop. Check the laptop to see what sort of female end you have, or take the laptop into the store and match it up. Good luck.

• A:Answer Yes, I have never had a problem returning anything with my receipt and box, but then again, have not had to return much. Only a game that was never opened that my son already got as a gift.

• A:Answer I’m not 100% sure, but I do believe this should work for a 2013 MacBook Pro. Mine is a 2012 and it works.

• A:Answer It gives you both ways to charge it, which I love because one is the cord with an extension to plug into to outlet, the other is the tip that goes into the mac directly without using the large cord. A little hard to explain, but they both can be used and great to have.

Q: QuestionI only need the power cord part of this unit for my 2015 Macbook pro Retina. I already have the charger. would this cord be compatible with the 2015 Retina? I looked it up and 85 watts is recommended if replacing the entire unit for the 2015 retina.

• A:Answer The 60w is the minimum needed to charge my 2012 MacBook Pro. But with a 2015 MacBook Pro, the end of the cord connected to the laptop changed and the 85w MagSafe 2 is the minimum required to charge the newer models.
