I got this for my son with a third party Apple Pencil and this model is outdated. Try more recent models if you want to keep the tablet up to date with the operating systems and apps that use the pencil/ pen. This one is an iPad mini 2 and this doesn’t keep up to date and no compatibility with the pencil :(
