How long is battery life on iPhone 8 plus null

Bear in mind that Apple app does not show you real battery info (for reason I think). I have a 7 year old iPhone with battery capacity around 20-25% comparing to when it was new. The app still shows 91%. So 97% probably means something close to 50%.

The phone we received was 84% and didn't work.
