“What do you use the control and option buttons for? I get the globe and the cmd buttons but I can’t find anything that specifically says for the control and options.”

They work just like the mac computer keyboard. Control is basically the windows or start key from PC. and Option is the ALT key. It’s a little misleading because on the mac copy/paste is cmd+c and cmd+v. also cmd+tab works exactly like ctrl+tab but on an ipad so pretty handy to jump through open apps.
