This is working on mine fine. Make sure you are up to date. Settings->Software Updates-> Update Software. Additionally, go to the App Store, select Hulu and verify that it is up to date (it will just say open, if it is already up to date) General Usage: Don’t use manage DVR Section, instead use TV Shows or Movies category to find your saved content. Hulu seems to work a little differently than most Apple TV Apps. Mostly you can hold down the right side of the touch pad to go fast forward (you can do this in Hulu, but no thumbnails). However, if you want thumbnails, you first click pause, then swipe to the right for forward and swipe left for back. When you have found where you want to be, click, Play.
