I current have Metro by T-Mobile and as of today (02-01-2022) you CANNOT have an Apple Watch ANY series work wit Metro. They do NOT support any smart watches a this time and the manager said he didn't see them adding the feature any time soon either. I currently have a 3 series and it connects using Bluetooth. So if I leave my phone somewhere or it dies my watch does not still get my calls or notifications. Only when it is in range via bluetooth. So please don't waste your money on the cellular version. IT WILL NOT WORK!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you can most definitely NOT connect an Apple Watch through Metro. You can use it without service when you’re phone is on and nearby through the Bluetooth function. But to be able to use it when you forget your phone at home or when it dies, it will NOT work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The comment saying the Merto is not a supported carrier in incorrect. Metro PCS is carried thru T Mobile which IS supported. Therefor you CAN have a apple watch in the same cellular line as you iPhone thru Metro.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our local corporately owned metro store tried really hard to get it to work. Despite being taken over by T Mobile, Metro still has their own back-end computer system to activate phones and devices and that back-end system currently only supports Metro SIM cards. That older outdated system doesn’t support electronic SIM cards like the ones used inside Apple’s Watches
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, Apple Watch does not work with Metro PCS but in the near future it might be.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Clearly this person has zero knowledge about Metro and there ability to connect smart watches, as Metro definitely does NOT support any type of smart watch as LTE.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The GPS + Cellular Apple Watch can connect to the same carrier as your iPhone. Please check with your carrier for Apple Watch compatibility and cellular plan availability.
