Don't necessarily believe anything about Best Buy’s “open box” items. I purchased a computer as Open box - excellent, which Best Buy tells me should include all documentstion, original packaging, full warranty, etc. Upon receipt my purchase came in bubble wrap, caps missing from the keyboard and no documentation. I attempted to get some assistance from Best Buy customer service for a replacement keyboard, but could never reach anyone who could offer any assistance, and the promises that ‘someone’ would get back with me within 72 hours was another lie from Best Buy - the most appalling thing however, when attempted to register ownership for warranty purposes, the manufacturer advised me that there was only 4 months remaining on the initial 12 month warranty. Best Buy is willing used merchandise and fail to advise their customers - don't buy anything from these crooks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Buyer beware. They charge a 10 to 20 percent restocking fee on open box products that a crap and do not work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can mean that a customer wanted to see the item so an associate opened it. It can also mean that the item is a display model (for how long, who knows). And the worst case scenario is someone purchased the item, used it for a week "or" several months then returned it to the store for a full refund.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Someone purchased it, used it, and returned it. These items have been checked by the employees to ensure they're in working order and practically brand new.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.BEWARE! The comments here echo what my understanding was - supposed to be "like new", just open box and immediately returned, demo, etc. BUT...I just got my "open box" MacBook Air, and it is definitely USED. Heavily. As in keypads worn down, charging cord discolored and scratched. Came in bubble wrap, no original packaging, no other accessories or documentation. Totally used. How can they get away with this? At only a few hundred discount. TOTAL SCAM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's an item that's been on display or purchased and returned with no issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Typically, open-box items are goods returned by customers, inspected by the retailer, found to be in working order, and re-sold at a discount, rather than returned to the manufacturer The open-box products sold at Best Buy come with a complete manufacturer warranty as a new one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.means item is as good as new, But don't trust Bestbuy, i bought an electronic item so called open box, it came with a generic box, one accessory did belong to another different device and item was dropped and damaged.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It got opened then returned. Just as condition of it being new. Make sure there are no missing accessories.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It means someone brought it, opening, it and could have tried it….didn’t like it and returned it
