What is the difference in the 38mm and the 42mm? null

The difference is the screen sizes.

Pretty much just the size of the screen. 38mm fits smaller wrists. I prefer the 42mm.

4mm. Seriously, the only difference is the size of the face. I was leery about buying the smaller watch because I wondered how well the text would appear in texts and emails, but my wife (it was a gift for her) has small wrists, and the 38mm is a great size for her and my concerns were alleviated as soon as she started wearing it. It is a great size for her. Text is easy to read, and I finally don't have to be frustrated when she doesn't hear her phone ring in her purse at the store!

The screen on the 38mm is smaller than the 42mm. I prefer the 38mm as a female. The 42 seems too big for my wrist.
