I was told at Best Buy, if you’ve ever used the free trial by Apple you can’t get the 3 free months. But if you haven’t then you need to create an Apple account in your Apple Music app. That means you still have to enter a credit card or bank card info. It’s up to you to call and cancel your free trial or it will automatically renew after the free trial. Once your logged in, you should see the 3 mo. Free trial if you don’t (and never did a trial) you should call Apple.
