Is the Apple Watch Water Proof or Water Resistance? null

It is to a point. I wouldn’t swim with it on

It is my understanding that it is water resistant not water proof. The series 5 watch is water resistant to 50 meters. This means it can be used for swimming in pool or ocean but should not be used for scuba diving or high-velocity water spirts.
