You can use the watch independently form the phone and as a phone. I believe it is eSim, but you would have to work with your carrier on how to set it up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What ever phone service you have it was easy to hook it up whit my phone service
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It uses esim and yes every carrier offers a $10 Watch plan that does a number share with your cell phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is set for any cellular company and is an esim. It can be pores with or without cellular service but the data option is best as it can keep track of gps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use T-mobile and it works perfectly. I think most carriers will support it if you buy it unlocked. It’s about ten bucks a month. It is tied to my phone number, but I don’t need to have my phone with me when someone makes a call to that number. It is e-SIM. You can skip the separate cell plan and have it connected via Bluetooth to your phone as long as you have the phone with you. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Cellular service can optionally be activated if desired; rates and plans would depend on your carrier. The device uses an eSIM and the IMEI can be pulled from the device itself and/or the iPhone Watch app. Sign up for a data plan would be done through the Watch app or directly through your cellular carrier. Without a data plan, AW will communicate directly with your iPhone via Bluetooth when in sync range, and will go into standalone mode without. With a plan, calls/texts/data services can continue even when not in range of your iPhone or a known WiFi network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.eSim is used and Cellular is required to except phone service and texting, I am paying $10 extra a month for data plan.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it’s esim. It piggy backs off your phone until your phone isn’t within Bluetooth range then it switches over to cellular. Typically $10 per month at least with Verizon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It uses eSim but cellular is not required to use it with your phone. Cellular is only necessary if you want to use all of its capabilities without your phone nearby. I like to run with mine without carrying a phone so I have used cellular since it first came out on the 3! It’s an extra $10 with most carriers. I get a discount so it is $7.50 a month for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All apple watches use esim. On this watch, it has its own cell service but you need to have a plan already in place and add this as a device. While you can use this without your phone around, you can not use this as a stand-alone Dick Tracy watch without a phone plan already in place. Verizon charges me about $8 for the watch plan.
