• I don’t know about fading but I definitely don’t recommend the alpine loop in water. It’s just fabric so I imagine it wouldn’t do very well, it also has gotten very visibly dirty just in a few weeks. I’d opt for something silicone/waterproof!

• I have swam all summer in our pool as well as public pools and the gulf waters and none of the color has faded. Time will tell with longer use, but after one season it has been fine.
