Yes, AppleCare+ extended warranty covers accidental damage but you have to have to broken AirPod and they will replace it for a $29 fee. With out the coverage you can just buy an airpod pro replacement for $89.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Apple Care+ covers all accidental damage as long as you can prove it. You must have parts of or the entire device to send to the repair technician. The technician will then “diagnose” the pieces or piece of equipment to determine if you are eligible for free repair or replacement of the product at no additional charge. Service fee of $29 is the only cost. A replacement fee is charged only if you are ineligible and your only option is to purchase a replacement.
