Call AppleCare directly at 1-800-275-2273. They will send you an email requesting the receipt. Attach the receipt and return it to them. Apple said Best Buy is supposed to notify them directly, but this didn't happen for me and many others as you can see. I hope Best Buy pays attention to this and starts doing what they promise to do, otherwise just be upfront and say the process is broken and we suggest you call AppleCare directly and register your watch for the 2 year plan.

They had no record of it yet, and referred to me Apple.com. I spoke with Apple, and they manually added the plan after I sent proof of purchase along with the serial number of my new watch.
