Mortal Kombat was controversial back in the 90s, Sega and Nintendo famously had a row about it, with Nintendo editing their version because they thought it was too violent. And they were ridiculed. By today's standards I don't think it still qualifies as 17+. It's more funny to kids today considering graphics are kind of antique. And 9 of the 12 games on here are way more tame. My wife will never be a fan of Mortal Kombat but she's not losing sleep with our 10 and 11 year old playing it. Check out video of it online if you want to see it before purchasing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do not buy it if youre against blood being shown it has alot of blood thats why it was rated 17+.very violent for anyone under 12-13 yrs of age i used to play it as a kid its gory and fun the fatalities which is a thing you can do after winning 2 rounds are violent and gruesome but you have to do a combination of buttons so there not that easily activated
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely don't buy it if you don't want your kids seeing animated blood and violence. That said, my 11 year old loves playing this game, as did I when I was a kid.
