This camera does not have a slot for a microSD card. This camera can be synced to a base station if you already have one. The base station would have a slot for the microSD card or a usb port for an external drive and would record if the internet is down. Depending on the base station you use/have. If you have it hooked directly to your wi-fi.I believe the camera would still trigger if the internet is down and send a notification to your phone via your home network It would not record. you would need to live view.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What cameras will have continuous recording? Also why or what is the reason it has “open here,” on my Arlo Essentials Spotlight camera? Can I purchase the hub separately? What cameras are coming out ( after speaking with Arlo, will have “Standalone,” internet? And also, Being as this is not a removable battery what happens or how is it serviceable when the original battery dies in the essential spotlight cameras? Is it serviceable? What to do? I am sure it is all dependent upon what you’re looking for in a camera but what are the best cameras you have to offer? One of your new cameras rolling out?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it does not have micro SD card slot. However, when it is connected to an Arlo SmartHub that has local storage feature, you may enable it so the camera can record locally. Also, if internet goes down, as long as the SmartHub and the cameras have power, the camera will record locally but will not save it in cloud or notify you about the event. ^RM
