A:AnswerThe solar charger will charge the battery but it is only a trickle charge. The time to charge the battery depends on how much sunlight the panel gets and how much charge is in the battery. I charged my battery to 100% before I attached the solar panel and my solar panel only gets full after noon sun. My battery power never goes below 100 %. I have 2 solar panels and 2 cameras and the camera always shows 100%.
My advice is to charge your battery first and keep it fully charged with a solar panel and you will never have a problem.
