• You can not connect over WiFi. You must connect via the ethernet cable between the base station and your router.

• Arlo Base station supplied with Arlo cameras. Has the alarm built in and the wifi going wirelessly to the cameras is how cameras get video to phone or computer. Direct to router connection (short cord supplied) for Base station. Arlo App for Apple download it on your phone. Alarm crazy loud should deter thiefs.
