If you don't have a subscription that allows saving your videos for a longer period (30 days I think), and you have no recent videos stored for a week with no subscription, it will be empty. I always connected a USB thumb drive in the back of the base station (two can be connected at once) so I did not have to download them from Arlo. It's much easier to copy to my hard drive for backup. If this isn't the problem then your system may not be set up properly. I would reset it and set it up again. I have had this system disconnect cameras for no apparent reason which is why I do not suggest purchasing this particular system. It is very unreliable and I told Arlo this many times.
