A:AnswerThe newer Arlos are. I have one old camera I bought on a close-out sale at Staples that is different. Regardless, any Arlo camera I bought at Best Buy is rechargeable.
They seem to have a long life. Only if the camera is in a high traffic area will the batter run down quickly. There is a power cord that will recharge the batter. Additionally, a standard USB charger that one could use for an older Samsung phone will also charge the camera. I believe that would be a USB-B charger.
A:AnswerYes, if you have a compatible operating system to down load the arlo app. Or, you can try logging in directly to the web page and book marking it.
A:AnswerI think that the main difference is the two way audio in the cameras. Before I bought this surveillance system in Best Buy, I checked the Arlo - Pro 2 that a local Walmart sells here in Puerto Rico. The feature that convinced me to buy the model that Best Buy has was the two way audio in each camera. It means that I can not only hear what's going on in my house, but also I can talk to my chihuahua Fiona to stop barking. That was awesome to me.
A:AnswerNo everything is new, they are under $400 that’s a good price if you don’t mind paying a lot extra for the accessories you need to have it all work
A:AnswerArlo cameras are cloud based and as such require an internet connection to operate. With the appropriate base station or SmartHub, local storage can been enabled to allow recordings to take place without an internet connection in the event of an ISP outage: http://bit.ly/33MrMWt ^KN
