“I just ordered a 4-camera Ultra kit. The cameras come with 4 magnetic mounts. Can these mounts be used outside as well as inside? The User Manual seems to suggest that the magnetic mounts are for indoor use and you need a screw mount outside.”

I am currently using mine outside and have had no issues. I have had the system up for about 2 months.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't recommend the magnetic mounts for outside because of wind or animal. I purchased screw mounts and feel a lot better about the camera’s security.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My Arlo Ultra package had two magnetic and two screw down mounts. I upgraded from a previous Arlo system and have used the magnetic mounts outside in the weather with no problems. If the camera is mounted two close to the ground you run the risk of someone stealing it.
