Hello, Thank you for contacting Aroma Housewares. With this unit it cooks 1-4 cups of raw rice using the cup provided with the unit. Typically you add the rice to inner pot rinse then fill to corresponding water line.Should have a hard time seeing the line in the inner pot, for white rice it is 1/2 cup more water than the rice being cooked etc. 1cup rice/1 1/2 cups of water. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I always use 1:1 ratio (1 cup water fir every 1 cup of rice) when making Jasmine rice. If I want my rice to be more sticky / softer, then I add extra 1/4 cup of water fir every 2 cups of rice.
