I have boiled eggs I fill with enough water and use the steam setting

I have never tried and there is no indication in the user's manual to do so

You can "hard boil" eggs with this rice cooker by simply placing the eggs into the steam tray and steaming for approximately 15 minutes.

This product is not for making eggs.
