• Yes but only maximum of 1.2 Gbps where wireless averages 2.73 Gbps on the back haul.

• Yes it does, however the linking speed drops vs wireless. Wireless it says 2.7 Gbps, wired it's 1.4 Gbps.

• I think it's possible to connect main router with satellite via ethernet cable. Similar to netgear orbi : https://kb.netgear.com/000051205/What-is-Ethernet-backhaul-and-how-do-I-set-it-up-on-my-Orbi-WiFi-System. I'm not sure whether the Max app for Arris Surfboard Max AX1100 will support this configuration. Wireless backhaul between main router and satellite is about 1.5 Gbps which is already sufficient for your home needs. I hope it will help.

• I have this particular router. 4.8 Gigabit per second backhaul link is what it has as stated on the Arris website product description. It also says the backhaul is 4.8 Gigabits in my owners manual. Its a great , but expensive system
