Yes this modem works great on my Astound internet.

Yes it does and without interruption...unless astound signal drops, which it is known to do. But this modem replaced a motorola i had just purchased and it gave us fits. The arris is easy to set up, just need to contact astound so they recognize it, then you are good to go. I have excellent speeds, this is hard wired to this to my laptop
