• My Boyfriend and I only have internet through Comcast and we use this as well as a router and we have a strong signal throughout our entire house.

• Please note that SB6183 is only a cable modem, it does not have the wireless capability. If you are looking for a gateway (modem+ router) you can opt for either of SBG8300, SBG7600, SBG7400, etc. depending on your requirements (TIP: - Most of the Arris SURFboard Gateways's model number start with SBG whereas for cable modems it starts from SB, for eg: - SBG8300 is a gateway ( with wireless capabilities) whereas SB6190 is only a cable modem)
