• No because officially the VR is the screen to make the game begin and without the VR just see a black screen that says required VR

• You need both, a PS4 console and a PS4 VR head set to play a VR compatible game.

• Hello, I have Astro Bot and you do need to have the PSVR headset along with the camera. You will not be able to play unless you have these items. Hope that helps.
