• I would think the button control should do the trick, possibly that might not be the case where you might need to use the app of the program llke discord or steam, along with that if that is not working you could haave that cord replaced.

• You can mute them by flipping the microphone part so that it's pointing up.

• It’s supposed to be a flip to mute mic so fold it up all the way.
