“Can the A50 be charged without having to use the console? If so, what can I use?”

• I assume you mean the base when you say "console". There is a micro USB port on the bottom next to the contact pads for charging on the base. I briefly plugged it in that way, and it seemed to work as a charger. If so, I will be using that going forward, as the base as a charger is stupidly horrible design.

• yes, you can connect them via USB B to a wall plug or your laptop
