• You cannot install steam on a stock chrome book. It is possible with native Linux support on some, and I stress some devices. But even if you do install it, the library support for Linux is weak and so is the hardware in most Chromebooks. In fact, once you get into the high end spec Chromebooks the price makes a better deal to just buy a high end ultra book on Windows. Chrome is designed to be a lightweight OS that runs good on low end hardware, which is why there are so many affordable devices on chrome.
