This laptop has the 2 slots. It has the one that the Windows 11 is installed on (kind of hard to swap out because of metal frame that surrounds the SSD) and 1 additional open PCIE 3.0 slot for an additional M.2 NVME SSD (easy to install). You can install a Samsung 980 Pro and it will work just fine. You will need to buy the screw to secure the SSD separately because it's not included with the system. You will also need a T5 torx screwdriver tip and a spuder or pick to open the system and to the upgrade, but it's totally worth it!
