Is there a user manual? How do you copy & paste etc... null

There I no user manual. The only thing included in the box will be the Chromebook itself along with its 45W power cord. Copy & paste are the traditional commands like using Microsoft Word. Ctrl+X is Cut Ctrl+C is Copy Ctrl+V is paste. Etc, Etc.

There are several ways... I use Control C to copy (after highlighting the words to copy) and Control P to paste in the appropriate space. If your "paste" needs more room, it will insert where you put the cursor, and move any words in the way, to display after your pasted words.

No manual but view copy and paste on you tube video… it worked when I followed instructions.
