QuestionMy new monitor works fine with a VGA connection, but not with HDMI. And it's a brand-new cable. My computer says the monitor is working properly. Yet I can't get an HDMI connection.

- Answer Some cables are "active" and therefore directional. Look on the connector to see if there are any arrows indicating the direction of signal flow from the computer to the monitor. They will not work if "backwards". If that is not the case, it could be a bad HDMI cable. Try another if there is one available, even if you borrow it from another device just for troubleshooting purposes. If that does not work, there may be an issue with the monitor. Good luck!

- Answer The monitor comes with a power cord that supplies the monitor with power. It does not come with any of the cables you'll need to connect the monitor to your pc/laptop/etc.

QuestionI bought a monitor stand that will mount up to 6 -- 24" monitors. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a noob and don't know if VESA mounting plates are uniform in size. The directions are in Chinese so I can't tell the measurements of the VESA plates.

- Answer I recommend using an HDMI cable to hookup to the computer for the best picture quality.

- Answer Yes. I play Dishonered, Wolfenstein New Order, Wolfenstein Old Blood, Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide using this monitor. If you have a very good graphics card and set game graphics to high, the details are awesome.
