Q: QuestionDoes this monitor work with a vista?I have a vista computer it's a few years old and i just bought this monitor cause mine was getting worn out. However it doesnt seem to be working very well. Everything is super slow and i have trouble playing my games on it. i have to have my game settings on low and it still doesnt play right. Theres also a extra cord on the monitor i've never seen before. Theres the power cord, a blue one, and a white one. Whats the white one? I dont have any place to plug it in at on my computer. Is this why i'm having so much trouble? Is my computer to old?

• A:Answer This monitor will work with any operating system, so it works fine with Vista as well. The white cable is a DVI cable and can be used to connect to computers that have DVI ports. The fact that you're using the blue cable (VGA) doesn't matter and will work just as well as DVI. It sounds like the issues you are having are related to your computer. Especially if it's an older computer, you will have issues playing newer titled games. I suggest having someone look at your computer and see if anything can be done to speed up its processing and possibly upgrading the computer/components.

Q: QuestionDoes the menu include individual color adjustment?I know there are preset color profiles, but I wanted to know if I can tweak colors manually to get them as good as possible.

• A:Answer Unfortunately you cannot tweak individual colors on this monitor. This can be done on our PA series monitors.

• A:Answer No, this monitor cannot pivot (rotate 90 degrees) on this stand. For an Asus monitor that can pivot, check out the PA series or the VW228TLB monitors.

• A:Answer The difference is HDMI and DisplayPort carry sound while DVI-D does not. Otherwise between HDMI and DisplayPort there shouldn't be a difference. I would go with HDMI because the cable is probably cheaper than DisplayPort.
